Blackwood Jacket
Made from vintage and antique French needlepoints the Blackwood Jacket is a corseted puff sleeve style lace up top, with a bright vivid red puff and binding and brown lacing. With a short v-shaped silhouette supported by upcycled fruit packaging boning we collect from Cardiff Fruit market.
The needlepoints were donated by the wonderful Of Planet Earth who kindly donated her needlepoint collection she had amassed during trips to French flea markets.
The jacket is a one off in a size small, best fitting a Bust 32”- 35” Waist 26”- 29” although it can be worn by an Xsmall as more of a jacket.
Model Bea is a small and 5’8 and Model Trade is an Xsmall and 5’7
Due to the age and history of the needle points there are small marks of wear. We have tried to reinforce the fabric where we can but some age marks are inevitable.
This piece is ready to ship, however if bought with made to order items we will ship them together after the made to order piece is finished. Please be aware that there can be shipping delays when shop demand is high.

Care info
Dryclean or Hand wash only, use a gentle handwash soap or dissolve a washing tablet in warm water and hang out in a ventilated area to dry.
Do not tumble dry or iron the product, I use an upcycled plastic boning and heat may melt or misshape the plastic.
To best preserve the shape of the corset either hang up or lay the item flat when storing.
Returns Policy
The return warranty on purchased items covers major manufacturing defects (not including minor aesthetic imperfections) within 14 days of recieving the item. It does not cover misuse or accidental damage by the customer, loss or theft.
Return shipping costs will be covered by the customer.
