Rosie Evans is the eponymous ‘High Fantasy’ luxury sustainable fashion label

Welsh designer Rosie creates a world of anachronistic historically inspired fashion, following the ethical practise of upcycling textiles and materials.

Sustainability and ethical production runs through the heart of the brand and Rosie works using ‘Fabrics with a past’ using vintage linens, antique silks and patchworks scrap fabrics. As well as working to save fabric waste, we also collects plastic fruit packaging tape from the Cardiff food market to use as boning and source second hand fastenings such as buttons and buckles. Now based in Brighton the brand collaborates with local brands and shops to save fabric and material waste.

The designs themselves fit the everyday fantasyland that Rosie has created: a cross between historical costume and wearable futuristic fashion. Inspired by her home land of South Wales and the poets and artists that hail from there, each piece has a sense of anarchic heritage - a flirty and humorous look at culture of the past.
