'A strand of golden silk' tells the tale of a deal gone wrong, following the silken thread spun from simple straw, the collection combines historical and fantasy costume and contemporary fashion. Inspired by the folk tale Rumpelstiltskin, and the story of Kit Walkers picture book Masquerade and subsequent treasure hunt, the story follows the obsession of gruelling labour and asks if that is truly what pays in an unfair world
