The Old Schoolhouse

Created from a world of soft aged wools and self made spells, our newest collection takes inspiration from her dear Grandfather’s countryside cottage, Shirley Jackson’s final novel ‘We have always lived in the castle’ and the idea of making ones own folklore

Using fabrics and textiles found around the house, including vintage wool blankets, embroidered wall hangings and suit jackets, deconstructed and remade into a collection of handcraft and practical magic. Cashmere and lambswool jumpers were rescued from landfill and turned into soft zip up bodysuits and old silk scarfs float around a body sculpting corseted dress that steps out of a fairytale illustration.
